She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Matthes Jr.; and her son Walter Matthes III. She is survived by: her son Mark Matthes of Le Roy; her daughter-in-law Joanne Matthes of Bangor, ME; her grandchildren, Nicole Matthes and Walter Matthes IV; her brother Edward Steve of Philadelphia, PA; and her parents, Edward Steve and Vivian Crinnin Steve. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
