It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda (Staley) L. Johnston of Geneseo, New York, who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Staley and Florence "Tilly" Staley (Bayless); her husband George Terry Johnston; her siblings-in-law, Rose Claud Staley and Howard Smith; her niece Tracy Staley Erwin; and her nephew Curtis Scott Grant.
She is survived by: her sons, Shawn Johnston (Joan) of Geneseo and Jason Johnston (Kim) of Mt. Morris; her grandchildren, Natalie Johnston, Lydia Johnston and Kody Mosher; her siblings, Judy Talbot, Sue Smith, Fred Staley (Sheila), Dennis Staley and Mary Jane Grant (Curtis); and her brother-in-law AJ Johnston. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc. (21 Big Tree St, Livonia, NY 14487). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
