He was predeceased by: his nephew Brian McDonald; and his parents, Eugene John and Lillian Jerow McDonald Sr. John. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Vanderheyden McDonald; his children, Matthew McDonald (Jennifer), Christopher McDonald (Theresa) and Molly Radesi (Chad); his grandchildren, Nathan of Geneseo, Samantha of Geneseo, Owen of Geneseo, Elizabeth of Geneseo, Adelyn McDonald of Geneseo and Abigail Radesi of Geneseo; his siblings, Eugene McDonald Jr. (Brenda) of Pike, Sharon McKeown (Red), Joey McDonald and Raymond McDonald (Sonyea); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Humphrey and Michael Vanderheyden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to Covid-19 no prior calling hours will be held at this time. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
