She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Sampson and Iola Sampson; her husband Donald Kennell; her son Greg; and her brother Ed Sampson.

She is survived by: her son Jeff; her daughter-in-law Cordula; her grandchildren, Maggie Kennell, Lena Kennell and Wyatt Kennell; and her sisters, Marie Phelps and Dorothy Lysyczyn (Dennis Spilman). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
