He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne; his daughter Leslie Ann Scoville; his granddaughter Mollie McCurdy; his siblings, David and Donna; and his parents, Donald Barber and Alma Culbertson Barber.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie McCurdy (John) of Victor and Donald Barber Jr. (Janet) of Groveland. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home (111 Main St, Geneseo, NY 14454). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Groveland Federated Parish (6616 Groveland Hill Rd, Groveland Station, NY 14462).
