He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Christa Petzel Schenitzki; his children, Karen Hayani (Ammar) of Burr Ridge, IL, Annette Ainsworth (Walter) of Westport, MA and Peter Schenitzki (Gena) of Irvine, CA; his grandchildren, Kinan Hayani, Laila Hayani, Zayd Hayani (Samar), Trent Ainsworth (Lindsay), Corinne Gibbons (Patric), Alexandra Schenitzki and Maxwell Schenitzki; his brother Horst Schenitzki (Sigrid); his nephew Ivan Schenitzki of Moersch; and his parents, Paul Schenitzki and Ida Jurgeit Schenitzki.
