With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Lenore Hale (Gasport, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on June 4, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Chase and Dorothy Chase (Taylor); her husband Clarence; her brother Ralph Chase; her son Ralph Haas; and her stepdaughters, Norma Huntington, Shirley Butterson and Diane Carlin.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Haas (Patricia), Keith Hale (Brenda) of Lockport, Clarence "Sege" Hale Jr. of Lockport, Brian Hale (Kari) and Crystal Hale (Steve Hedrick) of Lockport; her stepchildren, Clarence "Bunny" Stoddard (Patricia) of Pendleton, Terry Hale and Sharon Hale; and her daughter-in-law Lynna Mayes. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
