She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Thiel and Dorothy Thiel (Deeter); her siblings, Ruth Montague (Norman) and Richard Thiel; and her cousin Rita Vanderwalker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darcy Sweeney (Fred Stamm), Kelly Sweeney and Krista Sweeney; her granddaughter Cassidy Granchelli; her sister Betty Leonard (Terry); her nephews, Dave Melius (Debbie) and Bruce Montague (Roxinne); and her close friends, Pat Myers, Helen Ferris and Diane Ward. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
