He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton G. McElwain and Susie J. McElwain (McLaughlin); his wife Audrey; his siblings, Eugene, David, Samuel and Patty; and his brothers-in-law, Doc and Daniel.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert C. McElwain, Jr. (Nina) and Clifton S. McElwain, Sr. (Cathy); his stepson Ted Pazik (Lona); his grandchildren, Amber Troidle (Mike), Eric McElwain, Cliff S. McElwain, Jr., Justin McElwain, Megan McElwain (Zach Sellers), Ashley Abrams (Jonathan) and Lewis McElwain (Bonnie); his great grandchildren, KeShawn, Jaden of Croix, AJ, Max, Austin, Paige, Ryder, Layla, Kaylee, Shelby, Connor, Aaron Pazik, Kenneth and Christopher; his sister Hope (Joanne Ridgway); his nieces, Judy, Nancy, Christine, Brenda and Susan; and his sisters-in-law, Lucy and Daisey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
