It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hefferon of Gasport, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hefferon and Mary Hefferon; and his siblings, Russell, George, Jack, Robert and Marjorie Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hefferon; his stepchildren, Cindy Donaldson, Linda Penwright (Donald) and Garry Sauls (Shirley); his grandchildren, Jason Donaldson (Robin), Laura Weber (Colin Pack), Christopher Sauls (Lori) and Timothy Sauls (Nadine); his siblings, Rosemary Siegamann, Betty Virril, Dorothy Getty, Shirley Crites, Ellen Waldrep, Patricia Doak and David Hefferon; his close friend Alyssa Swanger; and his daughter Vivian. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
