He was predeceased by: his father John Clare. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Clare (Nowak); his children, Paul Clare (Jennifer Garver) and Andrea C. Koons (Jason); his grandchildren, Alyssa M. Clare, Jackson B. Clare, Josephine C. Koons and Juliet M. Koons; his siblings, Cynthia Wells (Ben), Victoria Wallace (James) and Daniel Clare (Lisa); his nieces and nephews, Krista Ramirez (Jose), Kara E. Wells, Jessica Obukhov (Alexander), Jacquelyn Coffin (Mike Ashworth), Lindsey N. Richards (Aschan), Rachel E. Clare, Adam P. Wells (Adrienne), Daniel P. Coffin (Erin) and Steven L. Clare; and his pet Virgil.
