He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd M. Zaepfel and Thelma C. Zaepfel (Danitz); his sister Carol Keitz; his wife Peggy; his children, Anne Marie Sherwin (Jim) of Lyndonville, Allen Zaepfel (Kristine) of Wilson, Jennifer Pierce (Jim) of East Aurora, Eleanor Alt (Andrew) of Appleton, Emily Zaepfel of Gasport and Marguerite Zaepfel; and his siblings, John Zaepfel of Amherst, Albert Zaepfel of Youngstown, Charles Zaepfel of Webster, Susan Huber, Eileen Dagonese of Buffalo, Nancy Keller of Tonawanda and Thelma Abbatte of Amherst. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
