She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald A. Saxton and Helen S. Saxton (Myers); and her sister Barbara Edmister. She is survived by: her husband Thomas J. Gardner of Gasport; her children, Dawn M. Dyson, Thomas A. Gardner (Gen Lee), Laura L. Gardner and Joshua J. Gardner (Shauna); her grandsons, Lucas Gardner and Miles Dyson; and her brother-in-law Steven Edmister. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Best Friends Animal Society at 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84741-5000.
