She was predeceased by: her parents, Michele V. Prestipino and Mary Prestipino (San Filippo). She is survived by: her husband Timothy J. Brennan; her sister Marie Muntz (Prestipino); her sons, Donald W. Owens and Michael V. Owens; her grandchildren, Melissa Owens (Joseph Caban), Alex Hewitt (Cathy Hewitt), Amanda Hewitt, Dawn Owens and Michael Owens Jr.; and her cousins, Donna Jones, Kathy Jones and Amy Nichols (Prestipino). She is also survived by numerous cousins and other family members.

In lieu of flowers or donations, read a Bible verse or two and give a listen to the song "The Maker" by Daniel Lanois.
