She was predeceased by: her parents, Florentino Resto and Lucrecia Resto (Rodriguez); her granddaughter Crystal Ambrose; and her siblings, Adelina Resto, Flormaria of Jesus and Juan Resto.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Nieves Morales, Miguel Nieves and Jesus Nieves; her grandsons, Louis Morales, Anthony Nieves, Adam Nieves and Nicholas Nieves; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Juliette Faria, Nicholas and Callie Nieves; and her sisters, Lucy Resto of Haverstraw and Edith Aponte of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George M. Holt Funeral Home (50 New Main St, Haverstraw, NY 10927). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
