It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Schmidt of Garnerville, New York, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Walter; his children, Gunther (Andrea), Sylvia (Tommy) and George (Ronda); his grandchildren, Skye, Jade, Emily, Gregory, Raymond and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Tanner and Vance Koachway; and his siblings, Hilde and Stefan Schmidt of Auschwitz, Germany..
