We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Douglas P. Mackey Sr. of Garnerville, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Mackey (Stein) and Francis A. Mackey; and his wife Elaine (Ironside). He is survived by: his children, Douglas P. Mackey, Jr. (Sherri) of Scotia, NY, Ronald Mackey (Kathleen) of New Windsor, NY and Janice Jensen (Christopher) of Stony Point, NY.; his grandchildren, Alexandra Babcock (Justin), Kevin Mackey, Natalie Jensen and Bryan Jensen; his great grandchildren, Hazel and Hudson Babcock; his siblings-in-law, Patricia and Thomas Ludwig of Lakewood Ranch, FL; and also, Liz and Joe Rich. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (28 Chapel St, Garnerville, NY 10923).
In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to the Joe Raso Hospice Residence, 415 Buena Vista Road, New City, NY 10956.
