It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriett Straus of Gardiner, New York, born in Chadron, Nebraska, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee McWethy and Ione McWethy; her husband David Straus; and her daughter-in-law Judith Austin. She is survived by: her children, Lisa (Cameron Afzal), Lee (Ellin McNamara) and David (Marie McAllister). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
