He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Wheeler Sr. and Cecilia Hertrick; his wife Lillian Wheeler; his close friend Joyce Alexander; his son Michael James Wheeler; his brother Thomas Wheeler; his niece Marsha Wheeler; his grandson Michael Wheeler; and his son-in-law Steward Dorward.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Dorward of Woodstock, GA, Deborah Stephenson (Keith) of Burbank and Diane Miller (Randy) of Summerville; and his brother Ronald Wheeler. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
