He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee; his children, Paulette, Thomas, Amanda and John; and his children-in-law, Tim Schindler, Pappy, Timothy, Caitlin, Cooper and Landon Schindler.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
