She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alexander Picozzi and Rose Picozzi; her brothers, Matthew Picozzi and Vincent Picozzi; her husband Emile Gentile of Garden City; her children, Vincent E. Gentile of Princeton, Patricia E. Coutu of Warwick and Laurie J. Gentile; her son-in-law Scott Friedland of Chappaqua; her daughter Jill T. Gentile of Highland Park; her grandchildren, Andrew V. Gentile (KC Arbour), Daniel Gentile, Katherine Coutu Holland (Chris Holland), Nicholas Coutu, Julia Friedland, Alexander Friedland and Michael Friedland; her great grandchild Henry Gentile; and her son-in-law Roland J. Coutu. She was also cherished by her children and grandchildren.
