“Dear John, you called me rookie for a few years after I arrived at I.S.318K. I gladly acquiesced to your seniority. All the students I taught who had you as their teacher all spoke of you in high regard. They loved you. You made them laugh while teaching them 6th grade Social Studies. You made me and colleagues laugh. That is not easy to do and you did it for a long time. Also, you helped and supported me and my colleagues when we needed you. You will truly be missed. Rest in Peace.”
