With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stewart E. Stanton Jr. of Galway, New York, born in Tupper Lake, New York, who passed away on March 20, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Stanton and Nellie Beers Stanton. He is survived by: his wife Sharron Dunn Stanton; his sons, Stewart E. Stanton, III (Patty) of Niskayuna, Sherman R. Stanton (Brenda) of Soldier, KS and Sheldon A. Stanton (Sandy) of Galway; and his sister Phyllis Bazan of Amsterdam. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or to St. Joseph's Church, both in care of the funeral home.
