She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Buchholz and Charlotte Hörig; and her son-in-law Charles Ware. She is survived by: her daughter Rita Ware of Galway; her great grandchildren, Zachary and Sydney; her granddaughter Jessica Ware of Galway; and her nieces, Frauke Fockenburg and Jessica Perl.
