Thiel (Galway, New York), born in Niskayuna, New York, who passed away on March 12, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Jones and Anna Jones (Hyson); her husband Eric A. Thiel; her sister Muriel DeSorbo; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Thuener.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kristen Brooks, Lindsay Stockwell (Robert), Marsha Briggs (Clark) and Karen Luther (Albert); her grandchildren, Jennifer Laux (Victor), Robert Stockwell (Ashley), Katherine Keller (Richard), Jessica Brooks, Peej Rice (Mike), Heather Brooks, Jeremy Brooks (Heather), Amanda Luther (Phillip Dennis Jr.) and Megan Luther; and her sister-in-law Ruth Graham. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to The Community Hospice Foundation 310 S. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY 12208 for the wonderful care Ethyle received.
