He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rigby and Ruby Rigby Sr. (Sturdevant); his wife Emily Barnes; his daughter Diana; and his sisters, Helen, Carol and Franny.
He is survived by: his children, Eileen Joy Heckman (Roger) of Gallupville, Gerald Rigby (Charlotte Bruce) of Buffalo, MO and David Rigby (Susan) of Parma Heights; and his sister Viola Albert of Texas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
