It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Arthur Kososki of Gainesville, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on July 28, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kososki and Pauline Lechwor Kososki; his wife Joan Prieto Kososki; his brothers, Raymond and Conrad; his son John; and his grandson James Jr..
He is survived by: his children, James Kososki (Eva) of Warsaw and Lynn Gill (Steve) of Virginia; his brothers, Donald Kososki of Florida and Norman Kososki (Debbie) of Utah; and his daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Kososki of Spencerport. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #532 or the Wyoming County Veterans Inc. at 245 W. Buffalo St. Warsaw, NY 14569.
