He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Laycock and Lois Croop Laycock. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Lowder; his siblings, Monica Reding (Terry) of Warsaw, Nancy Cross of Castile and Thomas Lashley (Sarah) of Dalton; and his children, Becky Yockey (David) of Alden, Richard Helms (Rochelle Aquilla) of Batavia and Robert Helms (Julie) of Alden. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
