With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas A. Merrell of Gainesville, New York, born in Nunda, New York, who passed away on August 25, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Merrell and Arlene Dumbleton Merrell; his wife Mary Ann Merrell; his daughter Angel O'Brien; and his siblings, Cal Merrell and Melody Ann "Dee" Martin.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Merrell (Cathie) of Gainesville and Douglas Merrell (Tiffany) of Arcade; his sister Dawn Kellogg (Terry) of Oklahoma; his son-in-law James O'Brien of Ohio; and his sister-in-law Donna Merrell of Brockport. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
