He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hurlburt and Leona Clark Hurlburt; his wife Shirley Hurlburt; his grandson Darin Pearson; and his brothers, Ted, Ralph and Jack Hurlburt.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Hurlburt (Nancy) of Aurora, Dana Hurlburt (Lauren) of Perry and Diana Haley (Jeffrey) of Kill Buck; and his sister Joyce Martin of Perry. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
