Zara of Fultonville, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Zara and Anna Santo Zara; his son-in-law Richard Jenkins; and his granddaughter Kristina Zara. He is survived by: his wife Stella Richardson Zara; his children, Laurie Jenkins of Schenectady, Patricia Cherico (Robert) of Glenville, Thomas J. Zara (Becky) of Broadalbin and Joseph Zara (Joelle) of Hagaman; and his sister Joann Gilbert (Tim) of Ocala, FL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Adirondack Baptist Church or to the Alzheimer's Assoc., both in care of the funeral home.
