He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Veeder Sr. and Irene Bellinger Veeder; and his sister Nancy Roosevelt. He is survived by: his wife Alice Martin Veeder; his children, Duane M. Veeder and Deborah Wilder (Richard); his brother Deline Veeder; his grandchildren, Joelle Ruger (Michael), Ryan Wilder, Dillan Veeder, Dainara Veeder and Frankie Ponte III; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Ellie and Mia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
