She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Mattice and Leora Sperbeck Mattice; her son Leo J. Crewell; her former husband Douglas F. Crewell; her sister Patricia; her brother-in-law James Simmons; her sons, Douglas Vaughn Crewell and Stephen Smith; and her sister Roberta Mattice.

She is survived by: her children, Laurie Barney (John) of St. Johnsville, NY, Lynda Russell (Eugene) of Glen, NY and Ronald Cornelius Crewell (Janet) of Glen, NY; her daughter-in-law Erin Smith of Texas; and her grandchildren, Charmane, Amanda Barney, Nichole Mulyca, Douglas, Robert Crewell, Cory, Cody, Caitlyn Russell, Sasha, Eriana, Stevie and Elias Smith. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
