She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Tackley and Louise Dandridge Tackley; her husband Myron Allen; and her siblings, Stella, Arthur, Donald and Patrick.

She is survived by: her children, Dwanye Allen of North Carolina, Tracy Kocik (Jim) of Baldwinsville and Kerry Allen of Alaska. She is also survived by six grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
