She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Kastler and Doris Kastler (Richardson); her husband John J. Mieczkowski; and her siblings, Elizabeth Thompson, Merlin Kastler, Linwood Kastler and Beverly Best.

She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Mieczkowski (Lynn) of Martville, NY and James Mieczkowski (Roberta Morgan) of Liverpool, NY. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
