She was predeceased by: her parents, Filippo Pappalardo and Angelina Curcuruto Pappalardo; her brother Leo Pappalardo; and her siblings-in-law, Wanda Pappalardo and Robert Natoli.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Kemmis; her children, Kathleen Francis (Alan), Karen Kemmis (Terry Heany), Kristine Knauss (Martin) and Philip Kemmis (Heather); her grandchildren, Kimberly, Andrew, Kirsten Francis, Zoë, Will Knauss, Matthew, Nicholas and Celia Kemmis; and her siblings, Salvatore Pappalardo (Rosalie) and Josephine Natoli. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
