He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Young and Mildred Young (Drumma); his wife Judy Young (Mangano); his stepchildren, Vickie Frawley Gioia (Hart) and James Shutts Jr.; his grandson Samuel Young; his stepgreat-grandson Jack Bobbett; and his siblings, John, Roy, James, Richard Young, Janet Pharoah, Joan Young, Beverly Yanock, Rosemary Fleischmann, Patricia Belair, Shirley Bird, Ruth Whorrall and Marilyn Trask.
He is survived by: his children, Doug (Cynthia), Denny (Arlene), Danny (Connie Curley), David (Tom Walker), Donna Shue (Ernie Baum) and Debra Burridge (Dean); his stepchildren, Donald Hart (Jean), Joseph Hart and Jennifer LeBlanc (John); and his sisters, Jean Cook and Barbara Johnson (Marvin). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
