He was predeceased by: his parents, Egbert Colegrove and Louia Webster Stevens (Ira); and his sons, Randy Colegrove and Michael Wood. He is survived by: his wife Margal Colegrove (French); his sister Ann Burchim (Stevens); his former wife Lila Dubois (Lamond) of Lillington, NC; and his children, Robert Colegrove, Jr. of Lillington, NC, Ricky Colegrove of Oswego, NY, Mark Colegrove of Lillington, NC, Lori Schell (Bruce) of Oswego, NY, Kelly Deyo (Ricky) of Lillington, NC and Heather Hibbert (Jeremy) of New Haven, NY. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was a dedicated volunteer for RSVP (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program) and spent his time working with the Human Concerns food pantry in Oswego, Catholic Charities, and an interactive children's program at the State Fair horticulture building.
