He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Forbes and Essie Forbes; his sister Marie I. Bush; his brother-in-law Joseph Bush; his great-nephew Daniel Bush; and his sister-in-law Rita Forbes.

He is survived by: his close friend Wendell Howard; his brother Charles W. Forbes of Volney; his nieces and nephews, Diana Allen (John) of Oswego, Joseph R. Bush (Gina) of Baldwinsville, Mark Forbes (Louella) of Oswego, Tammy LeJune of Charlotte, NC and Ricky Bush (Adelle) of Granby; and also, Jim, Karen Gallagher, Jeff, Penny Loomis and Richard.

Contributions in Richard's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
