He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Garner and Lovina Garner (Evans); and his brothers, Larry, Gary, Richard and Harry Garner.
He is survived by: his adoptive sons, Robert Carnegie, Joseph Munger and Robert Perry; his grandchildren, Kendrea Petrie, Zenia Petrie, Skye Perry, Alysia Smith, Devon Petrie, Alektra Clark and Wyett Clark; and his sister Lovina Markee.
