He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Smith and Lillian Smith (McNamara); his son Patrick J.; and his siblings, Ernie, William, Norman, Leon Jr. Smith, Cora Lindsley and Marion Arcadi.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette Huard (Day); his children, Michael Smith (Rebecca), Kim Johnson (Jeff), Kelly LeVea (Jay), Kathleen Amodie (Michael) and Jim Smith (Deborah Duger); his daughter-in-law Mary Beth Smith; and his siblings, James Smith of Fulton and Jane Rawson. He is also survived by grandchildren, 18 cherished great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
