She was predeceased by: her parents, Addison Dashner and Harriet Dashner (Aldrich); her husband Kenneth A. Towne Sr.; and her siblings, Paul, Richard, Merton, Roger, Joseph and Charlotte Whitney.
She is survived by: her children, Rick, Kenneth Towne (Tina), Laurel Mashaw (Gary), Tammy Towne, Theresa Jensen and Cheryl Towne; and her siblings, Howard Dashner, Elizabeth "Libby" Dashner and Stella Rumble.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the French Funeral Home Inc. (16 Barnes St, Gouverneur, NY 13642). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in her memory may be made to Oswego County Opportunities or the Oswego County Veterans Administration.
