She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Billings and Adeline Billings (Backman); her husband George Morrell; her children, Jeannine Jones, James Morrell and William Morrell; and her granddaughter Lisa Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Judy Rios (Jose), Larry Morrell (Kathy) and Michael Morrell (Debbie); and her sisters, Betty Malone and Mary Ann Hall. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces nephews and cousins.
