She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn R. Hopkins; her daughter Margaret "Peg" Pickard; her grandson Michael Pickard; her brother Edward Bowering; and her daughter-in-law Valerie Hopkins.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Hopkins of Fulton, David Hopkins (Barbara) of Geneva and Bruce Hopkins (Beth) of Oriskany Falls; and her sister-in-law Alma Bowering of Fulton. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
