She was predeceased by: her parents, Evander Watkins and Lilla Watkins; her former husband Waldo Smith; her son Windell Smith; and her sister Elsie Hines.
She is survived by: her sister Wanda Watkins of Fulton, NY; and her children, Vondell Smith of Independence, MO, Granda Smith of Fulton, NY, Melinda Rufus of Bowling Green, KY and Melva Smith of King George, VA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
