He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Tetro and Genevieve Dings; the mother of his children MaryLee Tetro; his brother-in-law Steve Diak; and his friend Bob Dings.

He is survived by: his children, Timothy Tetro (Dorothy) of Fulton, Heather Chemotti (Joseph) of Camillus, Krista Wardhaugh (Kyle) of Fulton and Alison Johnson (Jayson) of Fulton; his sisters, Adeline Castaldo (Paul) of Oswego, Diane Diak of Fulton and Charlene Moody (Don) of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Sydney Tetro, Anthony Carter, Alexia Chemotti, Brock Tetro, Jeffrey Wardhaugh, Sophia Chemotti, Joseph Wardhaugh, Eli Johnson and Kayden Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
