He was predeceased by: his father Harry Gill. He is survived by: his wife Terry; his daughters, Mary Nichols (Chad) and Sarah Cruse (Joseph); his sisters, Elaine Tharaldsen and Karen Spink (Fred); and his parents-in-law, Chester and Marilyn Ford. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
