He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his son James Cozart; and his siblings, John Cozart, Anna Cozart, Julia Youngs, Katherine Chalone and Mary Petrilak.

He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Cozart (Mic Sherwood) of Marana, AZ. and Bonnie Jo Naioti (David) of Fulton; his grandchildren, Matthew Naioti (Megan), Eric Naioti (Sarah), Momina Naioti and Melanie Miklowski (Nicholas); and his great grandchild Violet. He is also survived by five nieces.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe's memory may be made to the First United Church of Fulton, 33 South Third St., Fulton, NY 13069.
