He was predeceased by: his mother Lois E. Mason; his stepfather Howard J. Mason, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Charles A. Lower of Burna, KY. He is survived by: his children, John W. Evans, Jr. (Cindy) of DeBary, FL., Danielle M. Evans of Hernando, FL and Shaunna L. Mears (Ernest) of Fulton, NY; and his sister Claudia J. Lower of Burna, KY. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
