It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan M. Melvin of Fulton, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Zawacki and Agnes Zawacki (Klodzen); and her husband Edwin J. Melvin. She is survived by: her sister Susan Snyder of Syracuse; her stepchildren, Lyman Melvin (Barb) of Syracuse and Kim Shaffer (Gregory) of Phoenix, NY; her stepgrandchildren, Erin Brown (Steven) of Jackson, NJ and Jamie Shaffer of Phoenix; and her great grandchild Juliette Brown. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
